Brie has been a pediatric occupational therapist for over 10 years. Prior to joining Small Steps, she developed her skills in the settings of early intervention, school-based, and outpatient clinics. Brie highly values the child-family-therapist relationship and strives to build meaningful connections. She leads her sessions with a strength-based lens and prioritizes the child and family’s goals to support their success. She is also passionate about utilizing neurodiversity-affirming practices and advocating for inclusivity. Brie has a special interest in feeding therapy and has completed the SOS Approach to Feeding training to support oral motor development, expanding diet variety, and sensory processing skills related to feeding for more meaningful participation in mealtimes. She also has training and expertise in DIR/Floortime, reflex integration, and Brain Gym and has completed continuing education in the areas of sensory integration, self-regulation, dysgraphia, and vestibular processing.
In her free time, she can be found going on adventures with her daughter, crafting, and spending time outdoors.

Since completing her masters in Occupational Therapy, Ashley has worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including schools and outpatient sensory clinics. Ashley loves making therapy feel like play and creating sessions that focus on the strengths and interests of each child while encouraging growth. Ashley has experience working with a wide range of pediatric clients, including those with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, fine motor delays and gross motor challenges. Ashley earned her certification as a breastfeeding specialist and enjoys supporting parents and babies to develop strong feeding skills.
In her free time, you can find Ashley spending time with her husband and four kids outside, reading a good book, or taking a yoga class.
